The legal terms and conditions for using PaySnap's payment platform.

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using PaySnap ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

PaySnap is a payment processing platform that allows businesses ("Merchants") to accept payments through QR code technology. The Service includes:

  • QR code generation for products
  • Payment processing through Stripe
  • Sales analytics and reporting
  • Customer cart management

3. User Accounts

To use the Service, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Payment Processing

All payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. By using PaySnap, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. PaySnap charges a platform fee of 1% on each successful transaction, in addition to Stripe's processing fees.

5. Merchant Responsibilities

As a Merchant using PaySnap, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate product information and pricing
  • Honor all transactions processed through the platform
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Handle customer service issues professionally
  • Maintain appropriate tax records

6. Prohibited Activities

You may not use PaySnap to:

  • Sell illegal products or services
  • Engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices
  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Transmit harmful or malicious code

7. Fees and Payment

PaySnap charges a 1% platform fee on each successful transaction. This fee is automatically deducted from your payment before transfer to your account. Stripe's processing fees apply separately.

8. Refunds and Disputes

Refund policies are determined by individual merchants. PaySnap facilitates refund processing but does not guarantee refunds. Merchants are responsible for handling customer disputes fairly and in accordance with their stated policies.

9. Data and Privacy

Your use of PaySnap is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect and use information as described in that policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.

10. Intellectual Property

The PaySnap service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by PaySnap and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever including breach of the Terms.

12. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall PaySnap, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service.

13. Disclaimer

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days notice before any new terms take effect.
